John Barrowman at CERN

Yes, it turns out that John Barrowman is everywhere, even at CERN, the world’s largest particle physics lab, in Geneva. He was there to see the Large Hadron Collider. The United Kingdom has a leading role in the research being conducted at CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire or European Council for Nuclear Research.) John appears to have had quite a good time posing with the LHC detectors and discussing the science with the folks who were there with him. These included Dr. Brian Cox of the University of Manchester and several other scientists from the project.
John Barrowman is not just another pretty face, it would seem. And now he knows even more than he did before about particle physics. I love it when actors make an effort to learn about things that their characters should know.
