Article 92: Because Science
Long story short. Neither of us made it to Gallifrey One. In my case, it’s because my car was in the shop. And still is one month later. So, instead we bring you a slightly shortened version of our Science of Doctor Who panel what we do at Conventions. Sit back, relax, and join us for a discussion of science.
In non-Doctor Who-related news, this episode is dedicated to Leonard Nimoy. He made logic cool. He was an icon of Science. And he took us on voyages of discovery. Thank you, sir. This one’s for you.
Article 91: Living on the Edge
It was 1963. Doctor Who needed a 2 episode story to round out the 13 episode season. But the budget was such that they couple only use their current sets and the main actors.
…The Edge of Destruction is what they came up with.
And we have opinions about it.
Article 89: Colma Comes Alive
And that’s the end of the season until the Christmas Special. (At which point we are hoping a couple of things will get fixed.) What did you think of Death in Heaven?
Oh! And FYI, our other podcast Doctor Geek’s Laboratory has a soundtrack now. Soundtracks are cool.
Article 88: Gone to Hell
Well, we finally learned a few things in Dark Water. I’m looking forward to Missy cosplay at Gallifrey One this year already. Anyway, there’s a bunch to talk (and worry, in the case of that last bit) about, so let’s get to it, eh?
Article 87: What the Hand Dare Seize the Fire
Tyger Tyger, burning bright…What did you think of In the Forests of the Night? We liked the Little Red Riding Maebh, and the references to William Blake’s poem. Come and join us for a discussion of where the series might be going, forests, and fairy tales.
Article 86: Now in 3D
No two ways about it, this episode was full of dimensions. Seriously though, what did y’all think of Flatline? Spoiler alert: we liked it. So, get comfortable and join us for a discussion with far less ranting than happened a couple of episodes back.
