...May Have Strayed Into the Highlander Universe

Duncan's Katana

I blame this bit of silliness on a chance comment at dinner a while back. We began to wonder what the signs would be if The Doctor’s Universe and the Highlander Universe collided. The results were a bit…startling. Enjoy!

Five Reasons To Suspect That The Doctor May Have Strayed Into the Highlander Universe…

1. The Doctor has a companion that turns out to be immortal. – I suppose that would be Jack.

2. The Doctor takes up sword fighting. – He fought with a sword in The Christmas Invasion…

3. The Doctor’s pockets turn out to be able to hide larger things that the pocket size might suggest…like, say, swords. – We know that they are bigger on the inside. No swords yet, but I wouldn’t put it past him.

4. There turns out to be an organization that watches The Doctor. – Does Torchwood count?

5. There can be only one Time Lord. – Um…

Hey Doctor? Don’t lose your head.

Actually, I think The Doctor’s “watchers” would come from LYNDA :)

Wait … it is the same universe …..
No hear me out, the new regneration effect looks a lot like a Quickening, and if everyone will forgive me for a second, in Highlander II the immortals come from the planet Zeist, wich looks a lot like the German word for Time ….

    The immortals are TimeLords :)
