Hey all.

Is anyone going to Gallifrey One this year? Both Scott and I are.

Yes, you read that correctly. Scott and Calliope will be in the same Con at the same time. (Well, provided that my car doesn’t decide to up and explode.)

We didn’t manage to get t-shirts made or anything, but we’ll be there all weekend…so keep your eyes peeled.

Before I even start, there are major spoilers in this video for those who have not seen series 2 of Sherlock.

Hello again. I’ve been clearing out my email and I’ve discovered a whole bunch of newsbytes that we’ve never gotten around to posting here. (Often with hat tips to Blastr and the gang at ESO.) • Bobby Nash pointed us to this TARDIS Kindle Fire case from Etsy.
• Karen Gillan mentioned that she’s sad to leave Doctor Who, but now folks are trying to figure out if it was her idea to go.
• Apparently, Noel Clarke (Mickey/Rickey) has signed up to voice a part in Saving Santa. (Pssst! So has Martin Freeman.)
• Eve Myles says that there could be more Torchwood…in 2013.
• Just to dispel any rumors that may still be floating around out there – Matt Smith has no plans to leave Doctor Who in the immediate future.
• PS3 is coming out with a Doctor Who game. It’s called Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock (and you can see the trailer here).
• It looks like RTD’s next project is a children’s show called Aliens vs. Wizards. I can’t wait to take a look at it.
• Is Sophia Myles to return to Doctor Who? Or is Steven Moffat just a big tease?
• Oh. And I’ve…started a blog related to Sherlock Holmes. It’s called A Study in Sherlockness. Be afraid.

And here’s the Doctor Who Fan Orchestra’s version of “Rose’s Theme / Doomsday.” It just arrived on YouTube Wednesday, and it’s my favorite so far. *applause*

Ever come across a news story that makes you do a double take? Well I came across this article, and just for a moment I thought of The Doctor. As you can see, it is possible to have multiple hearts and not be a Timelord.

And here’s the Doctor Who Fan Orchestra’s version of “This Is Gallifrey / Vale Decem.” I’m impressed.

I wish I could play the violin (or the lute). Any of you folks have an instrument that you’ve always wanted to play?
