The Articles of the Shadow Proclamation started as an idea.
Scott and Calliope (a.k.a. Dr. Geek and Whochick) always called each other after watching an episode of Doctor Who to discuss it. Eventually, it occurred to them that this discussion could take the form of a podcast. If one has a podcast, they reasoned, one must also have a blog.
And the rest is history.

Scott (a.k.a. Dr. Geek) is a Lawyer, Archeologist, and Television Show Connoisseur. (You would not believe his DVD collection.) He is also a huge fan of Doctor Who, as you might expect from someone who had the idea for a Doctor Who podcast. Random Fact: Scott is very fond of theme parks.
Calliope (a.k.a. Whochick) is a Librarian with a regrettable fondness for LOLcats and Shakespeare. (So far she has not combined the two, but just now she has begun pondering the idea.) Her TV Show viewing venn diagram overlaps with Scott’s rather a lot (and has since college.) Once upon a time she used to get paid to blog about Doctor Who. Now, not so much. Her love for Rory is thus free. Random Fact: Calliope is really peeved that she will never set foot on Mars.
Debbie (a.k.a. Scott’s Wife) is a New York Times Bestselling Author. No, seriously, she is. Check out her website.. She is also a fan of the Whoniverse. This comes in handy when she appears in our podcasts. Random Fact: Debbie is a huge fan of Donald Duck orange juice.
Erik (a.k.a. Calliope’s Evil Twin) works in web content and has been Calliope’s Con Buddy for the last few years. He is also a Whovian of long standing and even has a proper 4th Doctor scarf. His father’s voice appears at the beginning of each of our podcasts (Hi Gerry!) and Erik’s voice has joined ours on occasion. Random Fact: Erik quite enjoys women’s basketball.
The Mysterious Shadow Architect (a.k.a. Calliope’s Husband) is not someone you will ever see or hear on this site…but he did create it. If there’s coding to be done, or banners to be made, or scanning and re-sizing of doodles to be done…he probably did it before you remembered to ask for his help. Oh yeah, he’s the sound guru, too. That new podcast intro sound? That was him. Is there anything he can’t do? Probably not, if he’d just put his mind to it. Random Fact: He is not The Stig, nor has he ever watched Top Gear.
